Tekoda

07/27/2006 Tekoda, being a trained service dog, was adopted by a military veteran who worked with Hanlon’s K-9 Training so he could be his next service animal. He has worked out beautifully in his new home and goes everywhere with his adopter, providing the service for his new owner that he was trained for. A wonderful match for both of them!

We are urgently looking for a foster home for Tekoda, a stunning 2.5-year-old male, so we can get him settled and scheduled for his neuter surgery.

Tekoda is the definition of a “velcro dog.” If you have a lap, he will be in it. He’s incredibly tall, absolutely beautiful, and has zero concept of personal space—he just wants to be wherever his people are.

The Highlights:

Social Butterfly: He’s a pro on the leash and loves being out and about in public.

The Roommate Situation: He needs a dog-free home for now (he’s never lived with one, so we need to assess him first).

No Cats: He has a bit of a prey drive, so a feline-free zone is a must.

Kids: Best with ages 10+ simply because he’s tall and a bit “pawsy” when he’s asking for attention.
